How To Support The AAPI Community

Date
Jun, 09, 2021

With the rise of hate crimes toward the AAPI community, it’s especially important to support Asian‑owned brands as they’ve been one of the hardest hit since the pandemic and increase in anti‑Asian sentiment. Supporting Asian‑owned brands not only benefits the business owners but also increases equity, develops generational wealth, helps dismantle the “model minority” myth, and is one of the easiest ways to show solidarity.
While I also encourage you to shop locally, here’s a roundup of AAPI founded small businesses that you can continue to support long term! Some of these brands I shop at consistently and others are more recent discoveries that I’m so happy to have stumbled upon.
