It’s been a minute since I’ve shot a new look! I’ve been crazy busy with work lately so it’s been challenging to find the motivation to create new content in my free time. I know Spring sprung a while ago but I feel like I’ve only just started to dress like it. I’ve been stocking up on mini dresses since they’re so easy and perfect for summer which is right around the corner. I recently heard that the quality of Forever 21’s clothes has gotten better so I thought I’d try it out for myself.
I did some online shopping and this brown polka dot dress caught my eye immediately. Even though I wouldn’t normally buy something like this, I actually really liked it when it arrived. I paired it with this cropped tee underneath for some extra coverage and it kind of adds to the overall 90s vibe. Remember, when you would layer tee shirts under camis? I’ve also been obsessed with these white booties. I actually found them via a Google search when it brought me to Payless’ website. They’re a collab with Christian Siriano and were so affordable in comparison to the ones I was looking at on Zara and ASOS that I couldn’t pass them up.
Last but not least are these micro sunglasses. Not going to lie, when I first saw this trend I wasn’t sure what to think but I gave in. I randomly came across this pair at one of those street carts at The Grove and have been wearing them non-stop since. They’re obviously not the most practical but definitely add a uniqueness to your outfit. What do you think about all these throwback trends?
