Fall is in full swing in L.A. and it’s the perfect weather. With the cool down, I’ve been wearing this leather jacket everywhere. I’ve had my fair share of leather jackets in the past but was never quite satisfied until I found this one at Topshop. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on real leather but was shocked at how great the quality of this one was so I jumped on it. I love the moto-inspired details with the asymmetrical front zipper and the stitching adds some nice edgy detail so you can really dress it up or down.

I’ve also fallen in love with distressed denim and swooped up this pair at Zara during Black Friday. I actually promised myself I wasn’t going to shop but of course I got sucked into the madness. These jeans were the only purchase I made during Black Friday/Cyber Monday and I just couldn’t turn down a Zara sale (30% off)! I’ve never purchased jeans from them before but I can already tell these are going to be on heavy rotation.

A friend took us down to Old Torrance for this shoot and it was the first time I had really explored that area. Everything was so quaint and it definitely had that small town vibe. We actually stopped into a bakery hoping to find donuts but came up short — mind you this was at 3 pm. So no donuts but we got some really nice backdrops for these photos. I love playing around with textures and the hint of lace contrasts the look of the leather here really nicely. I bought this top a while back and since then it’s been a piece I always gravitate towards whenever I’m looking for something simple and flirty to throw on.

But the real showstopper are these shoes. These were gifted to me by my boyfriend and I’m absolutely obsessed with the caged look. They’re made of a suede material and are available in a bunch of other fun colors but I stuck to this blush color because I really don’t have any other shoes like them. They’re about a 4-inch heel but pretty skinny so they can be a challenge to walk in when navigating sidewalk crevices but other than that they’re a lot more comfortable than they look. I can’t wait to dress these up for a night out but in the meantime they make a great statement piece for any look.
