Can we just take a moment and recall those days when we all wore those Adidas tear away trackpants to 8am soccer games?! I don’t know about you but those were the sh*t. It’s funny how things are coming full circle but I guess that’s how fashion works, right? Rihanna did it with her Puma Fenty collab and athleisure has reached a new level in 2017. From the revival of the Juicy Couture tracksuits to poolside slippers aka slides coming back into style, I am all about it. This whole look brings back the 90’s for me and I’m sure for you too.
I was shopping at the Union Square Urban Outfitters and pleasantly found this jumpsuit tucked away in the corner of the store and thank God I did a double take. I’ve been wearing this every chance I get… literally! Work, check. Night out, check. Don’t care what I look like, check. It’s so comfortable and because it’s a one-and-done outfit, it’s seriously fail-proof. It’s made from a stretchy material and the cinched waistband does a great job at maintaining your figure. Overall, it’s super minimal and the button-up side detail brings in all the athleisure vibes. You can also pair this with some black sock booties to go out in or a denim jacket and slides for a relaxed look.
If you’ve been following me for a little while then you’ve noticed my slight obsession with shoes, particularly sneakers. I could blame it on my sneakerhead boyfriend but I’m always a sucker for a good pair of kicks and these Air Max 97’s are no exception. I remember when these first came out in the late 90’s with its futuristic details. I always thought they looked a little clunky back then but when they re-released the Silver Bullets I knew I had to get them. It’s definitely nostalgic but these are a head turning sneaker for sure. Unfortunately, these exact ones are sold out now, but I’ve linked a very similar pair above!
