I haven’t owned a pair of Adidas in a minute but after slipping these on I’m back on the bandwagon. Finish Line Women was kind enough to send me these PureBoost X just in time for summer with the bold yellow pattern. The Boost platform has piqued my curiosity since it made its way into the Adidas lineup though I was skeptical about how much they had been hyped up… I think it’s safe to say that those days are now way behind me. Historically I’ve been drawn to Nike’s because they have a good balance of lifestyle focused footwear but Adidas is definitely stepping their game up.
The PureBoost X is built for running but they also make the most comfortable all-around sneaker. What really caught my eye was the floating arch feature. As soon as I put these on I felt like the shoe molded to my foot and the Boost platform makes it feel like you’re walking on clouds. They’re super flexible and lightweight so they can easily go from the gym to a day of running errands. They also come in a variety of colors and fun prints so you can choose which you like best.
It’s been a solid 90° in L.A. this weekend so I opted for a black skater skirt and crop top to keep cool. I also recently got my hair cut but I’m already starting to miss the length… As a result, I’ve been throwing my hair up into a half bun to deal. In all honesty, I’m just waiting for fall to come around so I can stop dreading this heat!
