I’m back! After spending a week in Puerto Vallarta, it’s been a struggle trying to find the motivation to get back into the swing of things. It was my first time traveling to Mexico and it really was the perfect little getaway. My personal favorite was laying out in the pool beds with a caipirinha in hand while overlooking the ocean… Talk about pure bliss. Anyway, all that sun exposure eventually got to me and I’m now about three shades darker which is surprising since I don’t tan easily (don’t worry I wore sunscreen and lots of it the entire time). But back to reality and blogging! It’s been warming up here in L.A. so I’ve been drawn to cooler tones, especially whites.
For starters, I keep going back to white nail polish (remember when girls used to use white out to paint their nails?). This pencil skirt has been a staple in my closet and I love the gold-tone zipper detailing on the back and the v-split is really what sold me. It’s also great because it’s not too casual or too dressy so you can really go either way. I wanted to keep things relatively casual so I paired it with a heather grey tee and some simple strappy black heels.
